Is it just me or does it feel like this summer is flying by at lightning speed? Well, before this summer passes me by I’m going to throw my beach cruiser in the trunk of my car and take a lazy ride around Newport Beach. The thought came to me when I saw this lovely Domino Bike in my inbox. Any product that conjures up feelings of summer play is a must have for me. If you don’t already own a beach cruiser I recommend checking some out. Anywho, I hope you guys have been having an amazing time out in the sun. If not, I suggest hopping on a bike a letting the wind blow through your hair…Happy Summer Everyone!
It has been awhile since I’ve posted about some of the fabulous things I’m in love with at the moment. I did have the honor of sharing some of the things that caught my eye during Blogtour New York. You can check them out over on the Blogtour website as while as all the items the other bloggers fell head over heels for…Happy Decorating Everyone!
Another day in the fast moving city of New York. I’m hoping to slow it down to California speed today by taking a trip to the 1stdibs Gallery. “The Left Hand Is The Dreamer” exhibit is now open and I’ve been wanting to see it. The exhibition includes approximately 100 works in gouache, pastel and collage by Gloria Vanderbilt. The author, actress, heiress and now painter explores a wide variety of concepts through her work that provides a window for a view into her world. I’ll let you know what I think of the exhibit…xoxo Typhanie
I would like ten of these very glam Oh So Fountainbleu Serving Platter please. What a fabulous dinner party I would throw just so I can put this platter out on display. I’m still banned from buying dinnerware but I never stop looking just in case my ban gets lifted. I love the elegant scrolls around the edge and the gold dip element. This is a great piece to get if you are looking to add some luxe to your dinner table. Happy Shopping Everyone!…xoxo Typhanie
Any coffee maker that makes my kitchen look like a chemistry lab is a winner in my book. The Hario Syphon Vacuum Coffee Maker is a simple and clean machine, which apparently produces an incredibly clean tasting coffee. As someone who now takes her coffee black sans sugar, I would love to give one a try. The price is reasonable and there are a number of different models to choose from. I wonder what the coffee snobs think of this gizmo. Happy Coffee Drinking Everyone!…xoxo Typhanie
I came across the Roxbury lighting collection the other day as I was flipping through the Hudson Valley catalog. I’m a big fan of mixing traditional elements with a modern touch. For generations our ancestors lived by candle light. The six candlestick lighting encased in plated glass brings back that simple feel. Yet the aged brass and hexagonal shape evoke our new modern sensibilities. Man, I wish I had a beach house to put this fab piece in. I can just imagine Paul Revere riding by said house, glimpsing this piece through the window, receiving his message and then taking off on his legendary ride…Yes, yes I do let my daydreams get the best of me. Happy Decorating Everyone! xoxo Typhanie
